Her radio show, A Moment of Inspiration, reaches out to over eleven million listeners in multiple states and more than 120 countries. Dr. Dixon, a retired Army Sergeant First Class, has received multiple military honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal. Following her retirement from the Army, she dedicated over 20 years to serving veterans and their families in various roles.
She actively supports those facing challenges in life and has volunteered as a Minister at City Rescue Mission for more than 20 years. Through her motivational sessions, she has contributed to positive changes in the lives of hundreds of men, women, and youth experiencing homelessness.
Dr. Dixon spent over six years as an Adjunct Professor at Teen Challenge Ministry Institute, where many of her former adult students now work in full-time ministry assisting others to overcome substance addiction. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Kingdom Truth University, an accredited Bible college, teaching a curriculum on Emotional Wellness.
In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Dixon is an experienced conference speaker and workshop facilitator. She is also the author of *Help…I’ve Just Been Rebuked* and *I Choose to be Healed*, both of which have positively impacted a diverse range of readers.
Dr. Dixon’s educational credentials include PhD. Divinity of Christian Counseling-Emotional Wellness, Kingdom Truth University; PhD, Philosophy of Christian Counseling, Kingdom Truth University; Honorary Doctor of Divinity, Coral Ridge Seminary; Bachelor’s Degree Psychology, Minor Business, Columbia College; Certified Life Coach, Orange County Life Coach Institute, and Several Mental Health and Workforce Development Courses of Study.
